T'is The Season

Yes are alive and doing well here on Webster St. If you've checked lately to find no change I apologize. We've been so busy lately with holidays it's amazing how fast the time flies. We've just about finished our shopping and even have a lot of it wrapped. It's the most I've ever finished before Christmas ever!!!
Shane's been busy trying to get geared up for Christmas sales at the store. I've been trying to get the shopping, wrapping, baking etc. done. My tummy has all of a sudden shot out of nowhere. I've even been getting called Mrs. Clause. We're down to the home stretch though with about 9 weeks left. (the longest part) My back is starting to ache a bit, but I'm doing better than I thought I'd be with a herniated disc. Thanks mom and dad for your prayers. Thanks to Shane for holding the priesthood to give me blessings whenever I ask.
Peyton has been busy at school with his studies and practicing for his schools Christmas program. He also started voice lessons about a month ago.
Lydia is doing great in preschool. She's turning out to be a good little reader. She's still doing dance and is loving it.
We are happy to report that Elsie is now potty trained!!!!! Yes!! A 3 month break of buying diapers!! She's excited that she is such a big girl now.

Family Traditions

Every year my mom makes egg dip for our holiday get togethers. It was a recipe that my Grandma Stucki made during the holidays. My mom has kept with the tradition since she passed away almost 40 years ago. We have it at Thanksgiving and Christmas.

Pretty In Pink

This is a picture of our baby girl that's on the way. So if you voted girl you were correct! We are excited. Everything in the ultra sound was great. She's healthy and growing on schedule. She's perfect!! The picture on the top right is of her little bottom. Her hands were covering her face so we couldn't see what she looks like. Peyton is not convinced it's a girl however. It might take until February when she gets here and comes home dressed in PINK. He was a little bummed, but excited. He's happy with the two sister's he's got. We remind him how lucky he is to have 2 sisters that like football & baseball. Shane took it well. He'was hoping for a boy too, but proud to be the papa of the 3 most beautiful girls in the world. Lydia & Elsie are excited. The girls definately rule the roost here. We are still thinking of old fashioned names. We have a few in mind but are open to suggestions in the comment box.

Fall Getaway

Here's the kids going on a "tree" ride. It went up about 20-30 feet in the air and would drop them and take their tummy's. Peyton was a little hesitant to go on it of course, but when he went on it he loved it. Lydia never hesitates, and Elsie thinks that she's as big as every one else.

We just returned from Bear World. We had such a good time. Here's a picture of Peyton and Lydia feeding a deer. It was fun to be able to pet them.

What's Shane Up To?????

Holy cow!!!! Where is the batting cage???? It's buried beneath boxes & boxes of Halloween props. This all should be gone by the end of October (At least it better be) I figured I better show some proof that we are actually working at JJ Sports. Here is your proof!!!!!!

Shane's Gigantic Jack-O-Lanterns

These are the Jacko-Lanterns that I grew this summer out at the store. It is the first year I have had any success in doing so. The biggest one on the bottom right weighs in at 36 lbs. The others weigh 33, 32, 24, 23, & 14 lbs. I also grew hundreds of tomatoes, crookneck squash, a few Zuchinni squash, 2 watermelon's, & 3 Cantelope. Its amazing I got any other work done...... Next year I am going to do a huge pumpkin patch with 30 + plants, so we will see what happens then.

"Pretty As A Princess"

This is a prime example of why I never start any craft or scrapbooking projects that involve my full attention. Shane asked me to take care of some ebay stuff for him so that he could attend a leadership class. I was only occupied on the computer for 20 min. This was the result:

School Year 2007 In Full Swing

Peyton is in 2nd Grade this year. His teacher is Ms. Sorensen. He's absolutely loving it. This past week he was voted in his class to be boys representative. He was pretty pumped to find out that he is in student council. He got to ride on a float in the Homecoming Parade. Lydia is in preschool again this year. She missed the deadline for Kindergarten by 17 days. She's a little bummed that she doesn't get to go, but is enjoying her preschool class and her teachers Miss Laurie and Miss Joey. She has dance class on Wednesdays and loves it. Elsie wishes she could go to school. As much as she talks there are days that I wish she was in school. She enjoys dancing and is going to Aunt Shelly's Gym on Mondays in the preschool class. She likes to jump and walk on the balance "bean."

Lydia's 5th Birthday

Lydia celebrated her 5th Birthday today. She definately scored big as always. Thanks to everyone that gave her gifts. She had a terrific day. She even made the comment that she "hadn't shed any tears today." We are so proud of Lydia she's a great example to all of us. She's learning to "give" and lately she's grown up really fast. Shasta Critchlow made her "Barbie as Island Princess" cake to go along with her theme. She picked spaghetti dinner (she said that she thought of something that Peyton would eat) for her birthday dinner. She's going to have a party with her friends later this week.
